They're planning to save Nike!!!! by tricking CRONUS!! COOLIO!! Hades would never betray his brother.

Hades is playing Kronos. He and Zeus may not get along but still he wouldn't betray him. Metis is probably going to have to heal Nike but she will be Zeus's "victory" not Kronos's.

Hades is playing a game with Cronus, I think.
His eyes are bright at the last panel, so I think he isn't in his dark-ish moment? xD Anyways, I love Hadessss <3 Don't care if he's good or bad, I will always love him ò3ó
Beautiful pages, as always ofcourse.

I really do think Hades has some ulterior motive (aka, bringing Metis to save/heal Nike while he thinks of a plan to break her out) but HIS EXPRESSIONS CAUSE SO MUCH DOUBT BECAUSE HE LOOKS SO PERFECTLY IMMERSED IN EVIL...
Maybe Zeus hates Hades because he initially thought Hades betrayed him...but then it turned out he wasn't and Zeus could never quite forgive Hades for it. Maybe Metis dies/is killed at some point/in the process, and that's why Zeus remains unforgiving. ;w;
MAN I STILL DON'T KNOW I don't think I'll ever figure out why future!Zeus is such a jerk until Zelda finally reveals it. ;w;

I don't believe for a second that Hades has turned bad - he's just screwing around with Cronus and has a master plan to save Nike and destroy Cronus.

Bet you anything Bia and the others are just waiting for their part in the plan to come to pass.

And yes, this is such a beautiful page - keep up the awesome work Zelda!

Wow, Why do I have a feeling that Hades is tricking his father into believe he has betrayed his brothers/sisters so he could steal his father's perfect victory from him aka steal Nike when Cronos is not looking, but I'm really enjoying the artwork and the storytelling you create Zelda, its amazing!

I forgot to post this last time when someone thought that Metis was either going to get hurt or killed because of Hades. Well, there's one problem to that idea...

Metis is supposed to be the mother of Athena and the reason for her birth was Zeus was told that if the titan was to bear him a child, that child would be his downfall as he was to his father. In panic, he came to Metis again and swallowed her whole. Months later (about the average pregnancy rate), he got a splitting headache and ordered Hephaestus to find out what the cause was by cracking his head open. In doing so, Athena rose from his skull, fully grown in full battle armor.

What I wish to know is how that's going to be interpreted in this version of the myths. ^_^

There must be a reason...

He can't be a traitor,it's a trap(I hope...?)

Reply Naomi-Daos (Guest), May 21st, 2012, 9:07 pm

No way, Remember Hades was Talking with the others? I'll bet its a trap for Kronos! They were obviously worried about the condition their poor sister was in and the only way to make sure she is safe and healthy is for Hades to trick his father into thinking he had captured Metis just to heal Nike for him. I'll bet Metis is going to do something that will help Nike escape!
